Report on Cappi--Cappi had shoulder surgery on Aug. 16 and is recovering at Briarwood Health Center at Timber Ridge in Issaquah. She would probably love some visitors.

Here are directions:
To get to the Briarwood Health Center at Timber Ridge: go south on hwy 900 (Issaquah-Renton Rd) out of Issaquah, go up the entrance to Talus, take the first left, it will say Timber Ridge. Follow the street all the way to the end and you will come to Briarwood Health Center. There are two sliding glass doors for the entrance, Cappi is on the 3rd floor, room 108.

SNOQUALMIE VALLEY PRESERVATION ALLIANCE 4-PERSON SCRAMBLE Sept 17, 2:00 pm shotgun, cost $360/team. This is a fundraiser by a group working to protect the golf courses, farms, residents and towns in the lower Snoqualmie Valley from projects that increase flooding.

Entry Fee includes: greens fees and carts for 4 players; prizes; steak BBQ and entertainment; one raffle ticket/person. Entry deadline Sept. 12--forms in the pro shop.

Raffle open to everyone, need not be present to win, lots of great prizes--see list in the pro shop.

Club Championship: Sept. 14, 21, 28, best 2 out of 3 rounds count, Margaret Lowe is chairman. To be eligible you must have played ladies club 4 times this year, (voted on at the Aug. meeting).

Annual KP on #17 has been changed--you no longer need to be within the flagstick for it to count.
